Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of woowone, including the iOS application and associated services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

To use woowone, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have received a valid invitation from an existing member
• Have purchased a valid membership via the Apple App Store
• Provide accurate information during account registration

We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access at our sole discretion.

2. Membership and payment

woowone is an invitation-only, paid membership service. Access requires an annual membership purchased through the Apple App Store at the price listed at time of purchase.

• Memberships are billed annually and renew automatically unless canceled
• All payments are processed by Apple Inc. and subject to Apple's terms and refund policies
• We do not offer refunds outside of those provided by Apple
• Membership fees may change. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect

3. Invitations

Each active member may invite a limited number of new members per year. By sending an invitation, you:

• Confirm that the invited person is known to you personally or professionally
• Accept responsibility for introducing them to the network
• Acknowledge that repeated misuse of invitations may result in suspension of your account

Invitations may not be sold, transferred, or traded.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use woowone only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm any person
• Share illegal content of any kind
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application
• Use the service for spam, phishing, or any form of commercial solicitation without consent
• Share your account credentials with any third party
• Create multiple accounts

Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your membership without refund.

5. Content

You are solely responsible for the content you send through woowone. We do not monitor message content — conversations are end-to-end encrypted and inaccessible to us.

By using the service, you represent that you will not transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of others.

6. Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. This includes:

• Keeping your email account secure, as it is used for login verification
• Reporting any unauthorized access to hello@woow.one immediately
• Not sharing your verification codes with anyone

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or posed a risk to the network or its members.

You may cancel your membership at any time through the Apple App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Upon termination, your access to the service will cease and your account data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, and technology associated with woowone — including the application, brand, and website — is owned by woowone and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service and are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, woowone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
